Safe Bars Initiative

Safe Bars Training is an essential program designed to equip bar staff with the skills and knowledge to create a safer environment for all patrons. This training covers a range of topics, including:

  • Recognizing and preventing harassment: Learn how to identify and effectively address inappropriate behavior.
  • Conflict resolution: Gain techniques for de-escalating tense situations and managing conflicts.
  • Bystander intervention: Understand how to safely intervene when witnessing harassment or violence.
  • Creating a welcoming atmosphere: Foster a welcoming environment for all patrons
