Our 10th Annual Phoenix Rising 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Pre-race festivities begin at 3pm with DJ TLuv, face painting, Pinky’s Shaved Ice, Just Tap’d beer, and more! Then, at 5pm, the race will kick off with the cheer team of Wesleyan College.
This race benefits sexual assault survivors in our community, and is one of our biggest fundraisers for our sexual assault programs. Our sexual assault programs include offices in Macon and Warner Robins, and we serve victims from all of the surrounding counties. We provide medical exams, evidence collection, medications, and advocacy services to victims free of charge.
How can you get involved?
- Do you run, or know someone who runs? Or would you like to walk? You can register to be a participant for only $25. This price includes a race t-shirt and other fun swag items from our sponsors.
- Would you or your group like to volunteer? We need folks to help with all aspects of race day, including registration, helping with drinks and snacks, and making sure the runners stay on the route.
- Would you or your business like to help sponsor this year’s race? We have several options for sponsorship, and each includes varying levels of benefits.
